Southwest monsoon to bring rains in W. Luzon, Visayas

MANILA — The southwest monsoon or “habagat” affecting western Luzon and Visayas will bring scattered rain showers on Tuesday, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said.

In its 24-hour forecast, Pagasa said the province of Palawan and the Western Visayas region will have scattered rain showers and thunderstorms caused by the southwest monsoon.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers due to localized thunderstorms.
