The Spanish national men’s basketball team became the 9th team in history to win the FIBA Basketball World Cup crown without a single loss. Spain went 8-0 in the said tournament, beating Argentina, 95-75, in the gold medal match. Guard Ricky Rubio led the way for Spain which captured its second world cup title after winning it all for the first time in 2006.
