Spox. Roque hospitalized for COVID-19 treatment

Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque on Saturday, April 10, announced he was admitted to a hospital for COVID-19 treatment.

“This is to say that COVID-19 is more transmissible now so we have to do extra precaution,” Sec. Roque said.

Despite this, the quarantine classification for the National Capital Region (NCR) Plus Bubble will still be announced following the meeting of the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID) today.

“I am asking for your sincerest prayers to all afflicted with COVID-19 in the country and around the world,” he requested.

The spokesperson tested positive for the disease on March 15 and was admitted into an isolation facility. On March 25, he was released from quarantine after being tagged as recovered.
