Statement of Cabinet Secretary Karlo Nograles on the passing of MMDA Chair Danilo S. Lim

On behalf of the entire Office of the Cabinet Secretary and the Nograles family, I extend our deepest condolences to RAM Party-list Rep. Aloysia Lim and the rest of the family and loved ones of MMDA Chair Danilo S. Lim. Chairman Lim was a dedicated public servant and an honorable man whose love for country was fully manifest in his hard work and high ethical standards.

I’ve had the honor and privilege of closely working with Chairman Lim at the IATF and during preparations for the Metro Manila Film Festival. He was always humble but firm, detail-oriented, gentlemanly and compassionate. His quiet strength and can-do attitude in public office will be missed, but his legacy will live on. May his soul rest in peace.
