Sto. Niño, South Cotabato Mayor gunned down

Sto. Niño, South Cotabato Mayor Pablo Matinong was shot dead by unknown suspects on Friday morning.

According to the initial report, the mayor was shot by male suspects aboard a motorcycle while visiting his project in the province.

Meanwhile, four other men were killed by unknown suspects in North Cotabato. The police is now conducting an investigation regarding the motive of the crime.
