Sulu gets more Pfizer jabs ahead of nat’l vax days

Around 40,200 Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine doses have been delivered to Sulu in preparation for the inoculation of minors ages 12 to 17 years-old.

This is in line with the first round of the three-day vaccination drive “Bayanihan Bakunahan” that will begin on Monday (Nov. 29) until Wednesday (Dec. 1).

The vaccines were brought by C295 aircrafts of the Philippine Air Force (PAF) on Nov. 26 morning at the Jolo Airport. The doses will be distributed in different vaccination sites.

The Integrated Provincial Health Office (IPHO) has been prepared to accept vaccines requiring very low storage temperature after the delivery of ultralow freezers last month.

Around 32,800 Sinovac doses were also delivered in Sulu. – Report from Eloiza Mohammad (Radyo Pilipinas) /AG-rir
