SWS: 9 out of 10 Filipinos look at 2021 ‘with hope’

9 out of 10 Filipinos are welcoming 2021 full of hope according to the survey conducted by the Social Weather Stations (SWS).

Based on the recent face-to-face interview conducted by the SWS from November 21 to November 25, 2020 with 1,500 adults from various locations in the Philippines, 91% of Filipinos are “with hope” while 7% are “with fear” as the new year approaches.

93% of those who look to the new year with hope are from Mindanao, 92% from Luzon, 90% from Metro Manila, and 88% from Visayas. -PTV News
