SWS: ‘Adult joblessness’ dropped to 27.3%


The Social Weather Stations (SWS) survey revealed that the “adult joblessness” has dropped in November 2020.

Based on the comparison between the SWS survey result in September 2020 and November 2020, the adult joblessness has been reduced from 39.5% or 23.7 million adults to 27.3% or 12.7 million adults.

The number is also lesser than that of the December 2019 survey results where 17.5% has been recorded.

In relation with this, the government continues to launch various recovery packages to further reduce unemployment and help the country’s economy recover quickly. – Report from Mela Lesmoras/PTV News
