Taguig launches ‘Bakuna Nights’ for economic workers

The Taguig local government unit (LGU) launched “Bakuna Nights” on Wednesday (July 14) for workers under the A4 priority group.

The vaccination started at 7:00 p.m. until midnight at the B-7 Building in Bonifacio Global City (BGC) High Street.

The Taguig LGU said individuals under the A4 category includes “workers in the events and entertainment industry, resto-bar owners and workers, which are all economic drivers in the city.” It added that it plans to extend the vaccination operations to 24 hours.

The “Bakuna Nights” will also feature the creative industry including artists and musicians working in cafes, restaurants, hotels, and self-employed artists.

Around 400 to 600 individuals were said to have received the first dose on the first day of the “Bakuna Night”.  Report from Bernard Jaudian/NGS-rir
