TDC appeals to DepEd for internet allowance

The Teacher’s Dignity Coalition appeals to the Department of Education (DepEd) to provide a Php 1,500-internet allowance as part of the blended learning program.

According to the group, the allowance can be obtained from the savings of the department.

TDC National Chairman Benjo Basas pointed out that while the education sector is prepared for August 24, teachers cannot provide the proper service to their students due to lack of resources. In a briefing, DepEd Undersecretary Nepomuceno Malaluan ensured that they are thoroughly reviewing the group’s request.
