Team PH still fully charged in SEA Games day 6

In the last five days of the 31st Southeast Asian (SEA) Games staged in Hanoi, Vietnam, Team Philippines will participate in seven sports of the biennial sportsfest.

The Pinay golfers will face Team Singapore in the women’s team bronze medal match.

In bowling, the Philippine women’s and men’s keglers will join forces to strike another gold in women’s and men’s team of four events for bowling.

Merwin Tan, the 2021 SEA Games men’s singles gold medalist, together with Christian Dychangco, Ivan Dominic Malig and Patrick Neil Nuqui, will play for the men’s team. SEA Games veterans Rachele Leon, Lara Posadas, Alexis Sy, and Lourdes Aries will face host Vietnam, Thailand, Singapore, and Indonesia for the women’s team event.

The karate event will also start tomorrow, bannered by karatekas Rebecca Torres and John Vasquez for the 1st round of women’s and men’s individual kata.

The men’s sepak takraw team and the women’s muay team will face Team Laos.

Ojay Fuentes, John James Pelagio, John Paul Selencio, and Loujane Remarim will paddle for gold in the men’s canoe four, 1000-meters final.

Meanwhile, seven events will be played in athletics, including men’s 100-m round 1, men’s high jump final, men’s 100-meter round 1, women’s javelin throw final, women’s 100-m round 1, women’s 4×400-meter relay final, and men’s 4×400-meter relay final. – ag
