Temporary educational shelters erected in Mindanao

Due to nearly 7,000 impaired classrooms in Mindanao, with 700 severely damaged following the 6.6 magnitude earthquake that recently hit the region, temporary learning shelters were established there to continue the education of students. Further, additional funds were already requested by the Department of Education from the Department of Budget and Management to fill in the PHP2.25 billion needed budget to reconstruct said impaired facilities.
