MANILA — The Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) 12 (Soccsksargen) will soon have its own office building after renting for more than 14 years, an executive said on Tuesday.

TESDA-12 Director Rafael Abrogar II told the Philippine News Agency (PNA) that the local government unit of Koronadal had recently donated 1,027 square meters of land to TESDA.

“The board has already approved receiving the donation. The groundbreaking (of the new regional office) will be in the first quarter of 2019,” he said.

Abrogar added that it would take more than a year to finish the construction of the new regional office.

“We are coordinating with the DPWH (Department of Public Works and Highways) regarding the schedule of this project,” he said.

He said TESDA-12 began renting when the government directed all regional agencies to transfer their offices from Cotabato City to Koronadal.
