A bettor from Laguna province became the latest millionaire from the state lottery games.

In an advisory on Tuesday, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) said the bettor guessed the winning combination 01-23-20-16-27-03 of Monday night’s Mega Lotto 6/45 draw with a jackpot of P30,221,261.80.

The ticket was bought from an outlet at the West Drive, Trade Center in Calamba City, it added.

Winners have a year from the date of the draw to claim the prize, as specified in Republic Act No. 1169, the law on PCSO lotteries.

All jackpot prizes must be claimed at the PCSO main office on Shaw Boulevard, Mandaluyong City. Lotto winnings of more than P10,000 are subject to 20% tax under the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion Law.

Meanwhile, 57 others won P32,000 each for guessing five of the six winning digits; 2,010 will get P1,000 each for four correct digits; and 27,636 will settle for P30 each for three correct digits.

The 6/45 Mega Lotto is drawn every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

PCSO general manager Melquiades Robles urged the public to support the agency’s gaming products to raise more revenues for health initiatives, medical services, and other national charities.
