Trough of ‘Florita’ to bring scattered rains over Luzon Sunday

MANILA — The trough of tropical storm “Florita” and the southwest monsoon will bring cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over Luzon on Sunday, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said.

The rest of the country, on the other hand, will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers caused by localized thunderstorms, according to PAGASA.

Strong to gale winds will blow over extreme northern Luzon and its coastal waters will be rough to very rough.

Moderate to strong winds will prevail over the northern and eastern sections of Luzon, and coastal waters along these areas will be moderate to rough.

Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate with slight to moderate seas, PAGASA said. (PNA)
