Trough of LPA to bring scattered rains in Mindanao

By Lily Ramos – PNA

MANILA — The trough of the low pressure area (LPA) would bring scattered rain showers in some areas in Mindanao on Tuesday.

In its 4 a.m. forecast, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said these areas are Zamboanga Peninsula, Basilan, Sulu, Tawi-Tawi, Sultan Kudarat and Sarangani.

Due to the northeast monsoon affecting Luzon, the regions of Cagayan Valley and Cordillera Administrative Region and Aurora province would experience light rain.

Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon would have cloudy skies with isolated light rains brought about by the northeast monsoon.

Temperature in Metro Manila ranges from 23-31 degrees Celsius; Tuguegarao City 21-30 degrees Celsius; Metro Cebu 24-31 degrees Celsius, and Metro Davao 25-31 degrees Celsius.
