Tugade: Common Station now 51% complete

Transportation Secretary Arthur Tugade said on Saturday (May 15) that the Common Station of the country’s railway system is now 51% complete.

He said construction is now being fast-tracked 24/7 to complete the remaining portions of the project. This is after more than seven years of delay.

He said the Common Station has a 13,700-square meter concourse area that will connect LRT-1, MRT-3, MRT-7, and the Metro Manila Subway.

This will benefit around 478,000 passengers daily.

Meanwhile, the DOTr also said  the Bicol International Airport is 82.22% complete.

– (DOTr)/AG-jlo
