Tulfo, Legarda lead Pulse Asia senatorial poll

A week before the May 9 polls, broadcaster Raffy Tulfo and former senator Loren Legarda topped the latest pre-election survey conducted by Pulse Asia.

Based on the April 16 to 21 Pulse Asia poll, Tulfo recorded 50.4% voter preference, followed by Legarda with 49.4%.

Actor Robin Padilla and former House Speaker Alan Peter Cayetano had voter preference of 42.9 percent and 42.3 percent, putting them in third to fourth place and third to fifth place, respectively.

Sorsogon City Governor Chiz Escuderro ranked at fourth to eight place with 38.6$ overall voter preference.

Reelectionist senators Sherwin Gatchalian and Juan Miguel Zubiri tied with 47% overall voter preference, placing them in fifth to ninth places.

Former Department of Public Works and Highways Secretary Mark Villar ranked at fifth to 12th spot with voter preference of 35.9%.

Former San Juan Mayor JV Ejercito ranked at sixth to 12th spot garnering 34.3% voter preference.

Meanwhile, former Vice President Jejomar Binay, Senator Risa Hontiveros, and former Senator Jinggoy Estrada all got 32.3 percent voter preference and were ranked eight to 12th. – gb
