Twitter owner Elon Musk replaced the platform’s blue bird logo with the famous dog meme “doge” that is also associated with cryptocurrency Dogecoin earlier on Tuesday, April 4.

Musk backed up the joke by posting a series of tweets.

“As promised,” the tweet read,  accompanied by a screenshot of a conversation.

The doge also appears as a buffering image once you open the site using a desktop.

Musk became the owner and chief executive officer of Twitter last October 2022 after acquiring shares in the company.

As of 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, Dogecoin price is up 24% for the past 24 hours. –ag
