Looking for your next travel destination this summer?

Read on, as these two beaches in the Philippines that ranked among The World’s 50 Best Beaches might be up to your exacting preferences for the next tropical paradise adventure.

Palawan’s Entalula Beach in El Nido sat atop the list curated by this lifestyle blog, beating 48 other contenders from different parts of the world and serving as half of the country’s entries in the catalog of captivating sand-and-surf sites across 6 continents.

While often overshadowed by nearby beaches and overlooked by tourists, Entalula provides one with plenty of reasons to take a detour from the usual jump-off points in El Nido to take in the sight of towering limestone cliffs that loom over a stretch of soft white sand and encircled by crystal-clear turquoise waters.

The blog described the atmosphere of this paradise, “It’s the contrast of majestic cliffs, clear water, and amazing seclusion that gives Entalula its edge as a place that feels both dramatic and calm at the same time.”

Perched at the 25th spot in the list is the Kalanggaman Island in Palompon, Leyte, which is a long, thin strip of white sand that offers a nearly 360 degree view of the ocean at its narrowest point.

Characterized by limited infrastructure and lack of any development that maintains the natural vibe of the place, visitors who arrive at the island by boat are treated to a setting where they can swim along shallow waters, have fun in the sand, or simply take in the breathtaking views offered by this tropical paradise.

The blog praised the uniqueness of this travel destination, “The shape of the sandbar, combined with the clarity of the water, gives Kalanggaman a distinct character that has earned it a place among the World’s 50 Best Beaches.”

So the next time you are on the hunt for another place to relax, enjoy, and bask in the wonders of nature, remember to save these two world-renowned beaches on your travel bucket list.

The World’s 50 Best Beaches is a lifestyle blog curated by a group of 1,000 travel professionals and beach ambassadors who roam around in search of the best tropical paradise destinations offered by countries from around the world.
