More than 90 individuals reportedly died and several others are missing in Bohol due to the onslaught of Typhoon Odette.
The provincial government said the death toll is expected to rise as several local government units (LGUs) have yet to submit data due to lack of communication signal.
Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (PDRRM) head Antony Damalerio said they are experiencing a total blackout, and that they are dependent on generator sets for power.
The water supply problem was also caused by the power outage which has affected both public and private sectors. Nonetheless, some hotels offered temporary shelter to affected individuals.
