Usain Bolt suffers injury in final career race

LONDON, Aug. 13 — Prominent Jamaican sprinter Usain Bolt suffered injury and failed to finish the final race in his career, the 4 x 100 meters relay at the 2017 IAAF World Championships in Athletics held in London.

Bolt said before the race, that he had been feeling pain. The sprinter pulled up and fell to the ground at the final leg of the relay carried out late on Saturday.

The race’s gold medal was won by the UK team with the 37.47 seconds result, while the US team came in second at 37.52. The Japanese team came in third in 38.04 seconds. (Sputnik)  | via PNA
