CITY OF SAN JOSE DEL MONTE, Bulacan — A barangay (village) chairman was shot dead in front of a barangay hall here Friday night.

San Jose del Monte City police chief Supt. Fitz Macariola identified the victim as Barangay San Rafael II chairman, Deogracias Milallos, 58.

“The victim was in front of the barangay hall when shot by an unidentified armed suspect several times in different parts of his body. He was rushed to the nearest hospital but pronounced dead later,” Macariola said.
