Walang Pasok: Class suspensions on Oct. 6, 2023

Some local government units declared a suspension of classes on Friday, Oct. 6, due to severe weather conditions:

City of Manila

All levels, public and private (face-to-face and online)

Malabon City

All levels, public and private

Navotas City

All levels, public and private (face-to-face)

The state weather bureau on Friday said Typhoon “Koinu” (formerly “Jenny”) is enhancing the southwest monsoon that affects Luzon.

The trough of the typhoon is expected to bring cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over Ilocos Norte, Batanes, and Babuyan Islands.

Meanwhile, cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms is forecast to prevail over Metro Manila, Zambales, Bataan, Cavite, Batangas, Occidental Mindoro, and the rest of Ilocos Region.

The rest of the country may experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the southwest monsoon or localized thunderstorms.
