War on drugs continues as PRRD’s term nears end

The programs and measures to address the illegal drug problem in the country continue, with around a million drug pushers and users surrendering to the government since the war on drugs began in 2016. 

The total worth of seized illegal drugs from July 2016 to May 31, 2021 has been estimated at P59.93 billion, while 22,193 barangays were declared drug-free. -AG-rir
