Warm and humid weather will continue to prevail in most parts of the country, the weather bureau said Thursday, April 20.

“There is no weather disturbance inside the Philippine Area of Responsibility. It will be humid in most areas,” Samuel Duran of the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said.

Temperature in Tuguegarao is forecast to reach 36°C and up to 35°C in Metro Manila; 33°C in Kalayaan Islands, Puerto Princesa and Laoag; Zamboanga, 34°C; Cebu, Davao and Iloilo at 33°C; and 32°C in Cagayan de Oro and Tacloban.

Duran said isolated rain showers and slim chance of thunderstorms may also be experienced in Luzon.

“Take precaution against intense sunlight,” he warned.

Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers will also prevail in the Visayas and Mindanao.

Light to moderate winds and slight to moderate seas will continue to prevail in the entire archipelago, PAGASA said. – cf
