MANILA – “We Heal as One,” an hour-long documentary on the Duterte administration’s COVID-19 efforts, will premiere Wednesday, 7 p.m. on the state-run People’s Television Network and will be simulcast across the digital platforms of the Presidential Communications Operations Office (PCOO).

It highlights the government’s narratives in ensuring public health and safety. It also tells compelling stories of medical frontliners and COVID-19 survivors and their families.

“We have produced this COVID-19 documentary entitled “We Heal as One” to highlight and promote the government’s programs, efforts, and responses towards mitigating the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic. Through this, we further aim to enrich everyone’s awareness of the hardships and sacrifices that our frontline workers endure to assist every Filipino during this pandemic,” Presidential Communications Secretary Martin Andanar said.

“This is the government media’s commendation towards recognizing and acknowledging each and every one of our frontline workers. Let’s continue to help one another to beat COVID-19 and heal as one nation,” he added.

Key officials of the Inter-agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID) will likewise explain steps that the government has done for affected communities and sectors.

One of the priority projects is the Social Amelioration Program (SAP) for poor families and displaced workers.

“We Heal as One” is produced by the PTV and Radio-Television Malacañang (RTVM), along with PCOO and its attached agencies.
