Weekend road repairs on EDSA, C-5 set

MANILA — The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) will conduct road repairs in parts of Epifanio delos Santos Avenue (EDSA) and C-5 Road this weekend.

In its advisory Friday, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) said the DPWH will undertake road reblocking and repairs starting 11 p.m. tonight until 5 a.m. of Monday, October 8, at the following areas:

SOUTHBOUND:

C-5 Road after Julia Vargas, before Lanuza Avenue

EDSA after Eugenio Lopez to before Sct. Borromeo St. (beside MRT line)

NORTHBOUND:

EDSA beside Trinoma Mall (6th lane from center island)

Batasan Road before Congress North Gate and fronting QCPU (3rd lane)

Motorists are advised to use alternate routes for the duration of the road closure.

Meanwhile, the Manila Water Company will undertake pavement restoration works at 10 p.m. Friday to 4 a.m. Monday (Oct. 8) and 10 p.m. of October 12 and 4 a.m. of October 15 on the following portions along C-5 Road southbound:
