Weekend road works in parts of Metro Manila set

MANILA — The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) on Friday advised motorists of road works in parts of Metro Manila this weekend.

In its traffic advisory, the MMDA said the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) will conduct road reblocking and repairs in the following areas from 11 p.m. Friday until 5 a.m. Monday:

SOUTHBOUND:
C-5 Road beside SM Aura (2nd lane from median)
Edsa before Scout Albano before Network Drive

NORTHBOUND:
Edsa after Oliveros St. (2nd lane from sidewalk)
Batasan Road near CSC Central Office (4th lane from center)

Meanwhile, restoration and concreting works will be conducted by Globe Telecom on Commonwealth Ave. near pedestrian footbridge and near Jocfer Building and on Commonwealth near N. Zuzuaregui St. in Quezon City.

“Motorists are advised to avoid the said areas and use alternative routes instead,” according to the MMDA.
