Workout sessions continue outside QC Circle amid Undas closure

Several individuals pushed through with their exercise activities at the entrance of Quezon Memorial Circle despite its closure on All Saints’ Day (Nov. 1).

Some of the visitors, including senior citizens and minors, said they did not expect the closure of the national park this Monday. A number of cars began to arrive early, but were advised to leave the area.

Personnel of the Quezon City Department of Public Order and Safety were deployed to man the park’s gates. The park was flooded with visitors over the weekend amid the easing of restrictions.

The National Capital Region (NCR) is currently under Alert Level 3 which allows 30% indoor capacity for fully vaccinated individuals and 50% outdoor venue capacity regardless of vaccination status.

Meanwhile, the Ninoy Aquino Parks and Wildlife Center (NAPWC) is open from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. for 18 to 65 year-old individuals, with a visitor cap of 200 for today. – Report from Naomi Tiburcio/AG- jlo
