World records 3-M COVID-19 deaths since 2019

The number of deaths due to COVID-19 have reached over 3 million worldwide since the virus outbreak in China in December 2019.

According to data collected by Agence France-Presse (AFP) from health authorities worldwide, India is the country wih most number of new death tolls at 2,771, followed by Brazil with 1,139 and Iran with 496 deaths.

Meanwhile, the United States (U.S.) remains the “country worst affected” by the virus with 32,125,098 cases and 572,674 deaths. It is followed by Brazil with 14,369,423 cases and 391,936 deaths, Mexico with 2,329,534 cases and 215,113 deaths, India with 17,636,307 cases and 197,894 deaths, and the United Kingdom (U.K.) with 4,406,946 cases and 127,434 deaths.
