Instead of feeling demoralized, members of the Philippine Wrestling Federation used the expulsion of the grappling event in the 30th Southeast Asian Games as a motivation for their other upcoming international events. Wrestling was originally removed from the SEA Games lineup last month but was reinstated a few weeks later, however, a few events including grappling was permanently removed from the calendar of events.
