Yucoco retires from AFP top logistics post

MANILA — Major Gen. Job Yucoco, the Armed Forces of the Philippines’ (AFP) deputy chief-of-staff for logistics, formally retired from the military last May 9 after rendering 38 years of service.

In a statement issued Thursday, AFP Public Affairs Office chief, Lt. Col. Emmanuel Garcia said Yucoco, turned over his post to Brig. Joselito Ramos, AFP assistant deputy chief-of-staff for logistics, who will serve in an acting capacity.

Yucoco, a member of Philippine Military Academy Class of 1984, is a native of Floridablanca, Pampanga.

The turnover ceremony took place at the Tejeros Hall of the AFP Commissioned Officers Club in Camp Aguinaldo, Quezon City.
