₱360k worth of marijuana nabbed in Caloocan, 2 suspects arrested

Operatives of the District Drug Enforcement Unit-Northern Police District (DDEU-NPD) seized 3 kilograms of marijuana worth ₱360,000 from two suspects in Caloocan City.

Other pieces of evidence such as buy bust money, a cell phone, and an eco bag were also recovered.

The suspects were identified as Jerich Frane Hernandez (19 years old) and Lloyd Paloyo (21 years old), both residents of Pasig City.

The operation transpired in a parking lot of a mall around 7PM on Tuesday.

They were directed by their source to deliver the contraband in exchange of ₱1,000 per kilogram of marijuana.

According to the DDEU-NPD, the suspects conduct their transaction through online group chats.

Most of their clients come from cities in Metro Manila such as Caloocan, Manila, Pasig, and Quezon City.

Hernandez and Paloyo will be charged with violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.  –Bernard Jaudian
