DILG to continue strict monitoring amidst ease in age restriction in MGCQ areas

The Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) will continue to strictly monitor the barangays amidst the easing of the age-based restriction in areas under Modified General Community Quarantine (MGCQ).

This was confirmed by DILG Undersecretary for Barangay Affairs Martin Diño. The DILG will also monitor protocols conducted by malls and business establishments implementing the easing of the restrictions. Crowding is not allowed inside establishments due to the possible increase in transmission.

Usec. Diño reminded that it is still important to wear facemasks, face shields, and to comply with the minimum health standards to prevent the further spread of the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19). Report from Kenneth Paciente
