DA eyes price cap on pork, chicken products

The Department of Agriculture (DA) will look into placing a price ceiling for pork and chicken products.

This was confirmed by DA Undersecretary Ernesto Gonzales amidst the continuous price increase of pork and chicken products. He stated that they want to reduce the price as soon as possible especially now that the country is still affected by the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic.

The DA initially ordered several traders to explain their excessive prices on the food products. -PTV News
