₱251K shabu nabbed in Marikina

Operatives of the Marikina Police Station Drug Enforcement Unit successfully nabbed ₱251,600 worth of suspected methamphetamine.

In a spot report from Marikina Police, the buy bust operation was conducted at Block 37 Vergara St., Brgy. Tumana at about 12:30PM on Thursday.

Five suspects were caught and identified as Ma. Andrea Isabel Gemina (20 years old), Marilyn Carniyan (52 years old), Gary Gusi y Guttierrez (42 years old), Erwin Allejandre Jr. (22 years old), and Mary Ann Carniyan (49 years old).

Pieces of evidence recovered were 10 plastic sachets with estimated weight of MOL 37 grams of shabu, a brown coin purse, various drug paraphernalia and ₱500 buy-bust money.

Suspects will be charged with violation of RA. 9165 or Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. – Bernard Jaudian
