121 CIDG tracker teams to hunt down GCTA-freed convicts

The Philippine National Police Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (PNP-CIDG) will deploy 121 tracker teams to hunt down Good Conduct Time Allowance-released convicts who will not surrender until Thursday (19 September 2019). Earlier, Pres. Rodrigo Duterte imposed a 15-day grace period for criminals convicted with heinous crimes and who were erroneously released under the GCTA Law.
