128 newly-promoted Ilocos Norte cops take oath

LAOAG CITY — Some 128 newly-promoted police personnel from the Ilocos Norte Police Provincial Office (INPPO) took their oath at the Camp Valentin S. Juan, this city, on Monday.

Senior Supt. Cesar Pasiwen, Ilocos Norte provincial director, administered the oath of office and donning of ranks of the newly-promoted police personnel which was attended by their families and relatives.

Pasiwen congratulated the newly-promoted police personnel under the 2018 first semester regular promotion program citing it was a well-deserved promotion for their hard work and dedication to public service.

“Considering a very stiff competition, you are all deserving of promotion. For those who did not make it, better luck next time,” Pasiwen said.

He also reminded the police force to perform their duties and responsibilities well and beyond the expectation of the public.

Leading the newly-promoted police officers are Senior Inspectors Arnel Tabaog and Rogelio Remiendo along with 180 second level commissioned and non-commissioned officers.

As part of the Philippine National Police continuing internal cleansing program, all men and women in uniform are expected to strictly practice discipline in the performance of their respective duties to the people and nation. (Leilanie Adriano/PNA)
