13 drug suspects, 7 wanted persons nabbed in Bulacan

CAMP GEN ALEJO S SANTOS, Bulacan – Some 13 drug suspects and seven wanted persons were arrested in anti-criminality operations conducted by the Bulacan police on Sunday.

Senior Supt. Chito G. Bersaluna, acting Bulacan police director, identified the arrested drug suspects as Elena Flores, Khen Mabini, Joselito Mesina, Daryl Ramos, Arnel Jamito, |Michael Solmayor, Merwin Salvador, Diego Barsagas, Alvin Villeza, Leonardo Llanto, Adones Dacquigan, Benjamin Madera, and Augusto Tan.

“A total of 18 plastic sachets of suspected shabu and buy-bust money were confiscated from the suspects during the operations,” Bersaluna said.

He said the arrested suspects and confiscated pieces of evidence were brought to Bulacan Crime Laboratory Office for examination while appropriate criminal complaints are being prepared for filing in court.

Meanwhile, the seven wanted persons were arrested in an intensified manhunt operations conducted in the towns of Marilao and Santa Maria.

Bersaluna identified the arrested wanted persons as Catherine Manapat, 37; Alexander Marfa, 32; Sarah Jane Sunico, 29; Jonathan Bacud, 42; Marice Geronimo, 41; Louie Aguilar, 19; and Edwin Ian Valera.

The arrested persons are now under the custody of respective unit or stations for proper disposition. (Manny Balbin/PNA)
