President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. hailed the country’s educators in celebration of the National Teachers’ Day for their unwavering dedication in honing the minds of the youth.

Marcos emphasized the educators as the “bedrock” of a flourishing community,  and that they are the driving force of the nation.

“Today, we honour our dear educators across the country for ensuring our youth’s holistic development as they aspire to be agents of change within their respective communities and beyond,” Marcos said.

Marcos expressed his appreciation to all the educators for their “invaluable service” to the country amid the resumption of face-to-face classes during the post-pandemic.

“Let this day be a culmination of a month-long celebration in which we acknowledge the many sacrifices that our teachers make to mold our students and prepare them so they can achieve their dreams in life,” he added.

“This is also a good opportunity to express our sincerest appreciation for their invaluable service to the nation as we safely reopen our schools and bring forth a new era of learning amidst the post-pandemic world,” he continued.

Marcos is confident that through the guidance and inspiration of the teachers, the country will be steadfast in developing each Filipino youth to be a better and successful citizen in the future.

“I trust that, with the help of our teachers, our country will grow stronger with every Filipino becoming more capable of building a better future for all,” Marcos said.

“May this celebration not only inspire present teachers as they continue their efforts in shaping the lives of our young learners, but also motivate those whose dream is to be such agents of genuine unity and empowerment,” he added.
