Two persons fall onto MRT-3 tracks

Two unidentified persons reportedly fell onto Metro Rail Transit (MRT)-3 tracks Sunday night, June 12, according to the MRT-3 management.

In a statement, MRT-3 management said two individuals fell inside its premises at around 6:37 p.m. from a flyover along the tracks of Taft and Magallanes stations.

Train operations were halted to allow security personnel and medical professionals to inspect the area of the incident.

“No breakdowns on MRT-3 system have been deported,” MRT-3 management said.

Philippine National Police-Scene of the Crime Operatives likewise arrived at the scene to investigate.

Southbound train operations resumed at around 7:26 p.m.
