2 weather systems affecting PH Monday

MANILA— Two weather systems, a ridge of a high pressure area (HPA) and the easterlies are affecting the country Monday, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said.

In its forecast issued at 4 a.m. Monday, the state weather bureau said the ridge of high pressure area (HPA) affecting northern Luzon will bring good weather condition in most parts of the country, while the easterlies is affecting the country’s eastern section.

The provinces of Aurora and Quezon will have cloudy skies with light to moderate rains and isolated thunderstorms due to the easterlies.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will be partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers due to localized thunderstorms.

Temperature in Metro Manila will range from 25-32 degrees Celsius; Tuguegarao City 24-35 degrees Celsius; Baguio City 17-25 degrees Celsius; Metro Cebu 25-33 degrees Celsius; and Metro Davao 26-33 degrees Celsius. (Lily Ramos/PNA)
