The Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) and the easterlies will cause rain showers over parts of the country, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said Monday, April 25.
According to PAGASA, the easterlies or the localized thunderstorms will bring isolated rain showers or thunderstorms over Eastern Visayas, Sorsogon, and Catanduanes while the ITCZ will be affecting Southern Mindanao.
Isolated rain showers and thunderstorms will prevail over Metro Manila and the rest of the country, also caused by the easterlies.
In its 4:00 a.m. bulletin, PAGASA said that these areas might experience possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to at times heavy rains and or during severe thunderstorms.
Light to moderate wind speed directing east to southeast will prevail over Northern Luzon while the rest of the country will experience slight to moderate wind conditions heading east to northeast. – gb
