MANILA — The tail-end of a cold front affecting eastern Visayas and northern Mindanao, and the northeast monsoon affecting Luzon and the rest of the Visayas will bring light rains over some areas on Saturday.

According to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA), cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms will prevail over northern Mindanao, Davao and Leyte.

Cloudy skies with light rains will be experienced in the Cagayan Valley and Cordillera regions, the provinces of Aurora and Quezon, as well as Bicol and the rest of eastern Visayas.

Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains, on the other hand, will be experienced over Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon and the Visayas.

The rest of Mindanao will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers.

Meanwhile, moderate to strong winds will blow over Luzon, the Visayas and the northern and eastern sections of Mindanao. Coastal waters along these areas will be rough.

Light to moderate winds will prevail over the rest of Mindanao with slight to moderate seas, PAGASA said.
