2 weather systems to bring rains over PH Monday

MANILA — The country will experience scattered rains on Monday due to two weather systems.

In its 4 a.m. bulletin, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said Quezon, Bicol region and the rest of Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon and Palawan (MIMAROPA) will be cloudy with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms due to the northeasterly surface wind flow.

Likewise, an intertropical convergence zone (ITCZ) will bring cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over Mindanao and Palawan.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rain showers due to localized thunderstorms.

Residents are warned of possible flashfloods or landslides in case of severe rain or thunderstorms.

Temperature in Metro Manila ranges from 24-32 degrees Celsius; Tuguegarao City 23-32 degrees Celsius; Baguio City 16- 20 degrees Celsius; Angeles City 25-33 degrees Celsius; Lipa City 24-33 degrees Celsius; Metro Cebu 25-32 degrees; and Metro Davao 24-32 degrees Celsius. ( Lily Ramos/PNA)
