20 drugs suspects nabbed in Bulacan buy-bust ops

BULACAN — In just one day, a total of 20 suspected drug personalities, including two minors, were nabbed by police operatives in separate anti-drug operations on Saturday.

Senior Supt. Chito G. Bersaluna, Bulacan Provincial Director, said the suspects were arrested in buy-bust operations conducted by the Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU) of the police stations of Baliwag, Angat, Pandi, Malolos City and City of San Jose del Monte.

Bersaluna identified the arrested suspects as Jorayan Santos, Annabelle Labian, Fernando Andaya, Joel Paat, Ronaldo Marquez, Relie Ramos, King Bryan Calderon, Carlos Manalese, Reynaldo Juanillo, Jayson Paraiso, Pedro Dela Cruz, Rene Marabi, Malvin Miranda, Edison Lazarte, Neil Fortuna, Marcelino Ancero, Christian Espiritu, Ryan Maglente, and two 15-year-olds.

Confiscated from the suspects were 27 plastic sachets of suspected shabu, six plastic sachets of marijuana, assorted drug paraphernalia and buy-bust money.

The seized pieces of evidence were brought to the Bulacan Provincial Crime Laboratory Office for appropriate examination, while criminal complaints for violation of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002) were readied against the suspects. (Manny Balbin/PNA)
