21 dead after boat capsizes in Binangonan

At least 21 persons died after a motor banca capsized Thursday afternoon, July 27, in Talim Island, Binangonan, Rizal.

According to the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG), MBCA Princess Aya submerged approximately 50 yards away from Barangay Kalinawan.

At around 1:00 p.m., the motor banca was hit by strong winds, causing all passengers to panic.

PCG said the passengers went to the port side of the motor banca, causing it to capsize.
