2,103 of 7,685 examinees pass bar exams

The Supreme Court (SC) announced Wednesday that 2,103 out of 7,685 or 27.36 percent of examinees passed the 2019 bar exams held last November.

Mae Diane Azores of UST-Legazpi topped the bar with a 91.049 percent rating. The rest of the ten topnotchers include by Princess Fatima Parahiman of UE with 89.523 percent, Myra Baranda of UST-Legazpi with 88.825 percent, and Dawna Fya Bandiola of San Beda College-Alabang with 88.336 percent. Jocelyn Fabello of Palawan State University, Kenneth Manuel of UST, Rhowee Buergo of JRU, Anton Luis Avila of SLU, Jun Dexter Roxas of PUP, and Bebelan Madera of USLS.

The High Court en banc decided to lower the passing rate from 75 percent to 74 percent. The complete list of passers can be viewed at sc.judiciary.gov.ph.

Malacaῆang has congratulated the new lawyers and hoped they will serve as instruments of justice for everyone.
