3 weather systems to bring scattered rain showers

By Ma. Cristina Arayata | Philippine News Agency

Three weather systems will cause scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over several parts of the country, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said Monday, Nov. 7.

In its latest weather advisory, PAGASA said the provinces of Batanes, Cagayan, Isabela, Aurora and Quezon will get rain showers due to the shear line.

The intertropical convergence zone (ITCZ) and the easterlies will bring rain showers in Bicol, Eastern Visayas, Caraga, and Davao regions.

Flash floods or landslides are likely in those areas due to moderate and heavy rain showers.

PAGASA said the rest of the country will have isolated rain showers caused by localized thunderstorms.

Moderate to strong winds and moderate to rough seas will prevail over Northern Luzon.

The northern seaboard of Northern Luzon will experience rough seas.

Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate with slight to moderate seas. – gb
